Hello, I’m Jo!

I'm a product designer with over six years of experience bringing consumer products to market. Before transitioning into digital products, I spent my career in fashion taking products from concept to production - balancing design intent, customer needs, fit, construction, cost, merchandising priorities, production constraints, and timelines across as many as 150 styles a season.

The medium has changed, but much of the work is familiar: understanding the goal, navigating competing constraints, making thoughtful decisions, and working across disciplines to bring something real to market.

Product design has expanded how I think about the people I'm designing for. It has challenged my assumptions and deepened my understanding of their needs.

About me

Outside of design, I’m usually hunting for vintage denim, practicing pilates, learning golf, or exploring cafes with my chocolate poodle in search of the perfect iced latte and Oolong tea.

I love traveling, especially along the Mediterranean coast, and having long dinners that turn into conversations about design, technology, and the little details most people overlook. I'm fascinated by experiences that quietly feel right. Whether it's a beautiful cafe, a well-constructed garment, or a product that anticipates what I need before I ask. I've realized I'm rarely able to experience something without wondering why it feels the way it does.

I often catch myself wondering why those moments work. What made the space feel inviting? Why did that interaction feel effortless? What made something memorable? Those observations have become one of the ways I continue learning, and they inevitably find their way back into how I approach design.
